You could sit here for weeks with your one hair brush trying to do that - or you could do it with one stroke with an almighty brush. They say everything looks better with odd numbers of things. But sometimes I put even numbers—just to upset the critics. If I paint something, I don't want to have to explain what it is.
It's so important to do something every day that will make you happy. This is probably the greatest thing that's ever happened in my life. It looks so good, I might as well not stop. It's amazing what you can do with a little love in your heart. That's the way I look when I get home late; black and blue. We'll lay all these little funky little things in there.
Think about a cloud. Just float around and be there. Don't fight it, use what happens. I thought today we would make a happy little stream that's just running through the woods here.
Follow the lay of the land. It's most important. Let's have a happy little tree in here. Just pretend you are a whisper floating across a mountain. You can create beautiful things - but you have to see them in your mind first. Didn't you know you had that much power? You can move mountains.
All you have to do is let your imagination go wild. I'm a water fanatic. I love water. Don't fight it, use what happens. The only prerequisite is that it makes you happy. If it makes you happy then it's good. There are no mistakes. You can fix anything that happens. A tree cannot be straight if it has a crooked trunk.
A little happy sunlight shining through there. Now let's put some happy little clouds in here. Maybe there's a happy little bush that lives right there. See there how easy that is. Talent is a pursued interest. That is to say, anything you practice you can do. Everyone wants to enjoy the good parts - but you have to build the framework first.
Imagination is the key to painting. This is probably the greatest thing to happen in my life - to be able to share this with you. This is your creation - and it's just as unique and special as you are. This is your world, whatever makes you happy you can put in it. Go crazy. Just relax and let it flow. That easy. If you overwork it you become a cloud killer. There's nothing worse than a cloud killer.
